b19 Consulting is working with an established power delivery company to find a Substation Engineering Director to lead a strong team and help grow the division.

The ideal Substation Engineering Director will possess:

- A Bachelor’s degree in electrical, civil, mechanical, or structural engineering (or related field).

- At least 7 years of experience in substation engineering, design, and contract management, with a minimum of 5 years managing engineering/design teams.

- A Professional Engineer (PE) license and experience with programmatic project management.

- Strong experience with financial analysis, data management, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Access).

- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver results on time.

- A passion for business development and expanding client relationships.

- Ability to travel up to 30% for client meetings, industry events, and national operations oversight.
