Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Subcontractor Administrator to support project operations in Mobile, AL. This role will serve as the primary liaison between the company and subcontractors, ensuring compliance, proper documentation, and smooth coordination of subcontractor activities. The position requires strong administrative, communication, and contract management skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced construction/project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration
Prepare, review, and administer subcontract agreements, amendments, and change orders.
Maintain accurate records of subcontractor contracts, insurance, bonds, and other compliance documents.
Track contract performance, deliverables, and deadlines.
Subcontractor Coordination
Serve as the main point of contact for subcontractor inquiries and issues.
Ensure subcontractors comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in resolving disputes, discrepancies, and compliance concerns.
Financial & Reporting Support
Process invoices, verify accuracy of subcontractor billings, and ensure timely payment approvals.
Track subcontractor expenses against budgets and report variances to management.
Generate periodic status and compliance reports for leadership review.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain subcontractor files and databases in accordance with company standards.
Monitor certificates of insurance, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
Support audits and internal reviews related to subcontractor performance.
