Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and work effectively with various materials. This role is crucial in ensuring the structural integrity of our projects, requiring precision and attention to detail.
Duties
•
Weld and assemble metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
•
Fabricate structures by cutting, shaping, and joining materials using hand tools and welding equipment.
•
Perform plasma cutting and other machining tasks as needed for project requirements.
•
Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
•
Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
•
Collaborate with team members to build ductwork and other structural elements efficiently.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
•
Proven experience as a Structural Welder or similar role is preferred.
•
Must have help a CWB FCAW/MCAW class S welding ticket or equivalent
•
Experience with hand tools and machinery used in metal fabrication is advantageous.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.
