Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. This role involves working on construction sites to build and fabricate metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
•
Perform welding tasks using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding techniques.
•
Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and layout for welding projects.
•
Fabricate, rig, and assemble metal components according to project requirements.
•
Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
•
Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
•
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing repairs as necessary.
•
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a Welder with proficiency in FCAW and Stick welding.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot welding equipment.
•
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
•
Experience in fabricating, rigging, and assembling metal structures.
•
Familiarity with soldering techniques is a plus.
•
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
•
Willingness to work on construction sites in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.41 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
