Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator to join our dynamic team. MUST HAVE prior steel fabrication experience! The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various fabrication processes. This role involves working with metal components to create high-quality products that meet our specifications and standards. The Fabricator will utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques to ensure precise and efficient fabrication.

Responsibilities

- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and materials required for fabrication.

- Utilize various welding techniques to join metal parts securely.

- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to shape and assemble metal components.

- Conduct machining tasks, including the use of drills, saws ect.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.

- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet established standards.

- Other duties as needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
