Metal Fabricator/Welder

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metalworking and fabrication processes, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques and the ability to read and interpret drawing plans, floor plans and structural plans. This role involves working on construction sites and requires proficiency with power tools, as well as the ability to build and rig metal structures. Pay is $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr depending on experience!

Responsibilities

- Fabricate metal components according to specifications and schematics.

- Operate welding equipment including Mig, Tig, and Stick.

- Utilize a variety of tools, including but not limited to, saws, grinders, welders, presses, and measuring instruments.

- Assemble and rig metal structures for construction projects.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites and in our warehouse.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator and welder.

- Must be certified.

- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including Mig, Tig and Stick welding.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

- Experience with power tools and fabrication equipment.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Must be extremely organized and very detail orientated.

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.

- Must have a working phone as we use a lot of apps to track projects and such.

- Must be fine with working four 10 hour days, Mon-Thurs.

- Must have good communication.

- Must have own transportation and a valid license.

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

The perfect candidate will be a self starter, organized, has at least 5+ years on job experience, is okay with 4-10 hour days + overtime, has excellent communication, is able to fabricate and read plans, is able to mig, tig and stick weld and is able to complete projects on their own.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
