Fabricator/Welder

Overview

Wrights Farm is a small family business that has been established for 30 years, we not only weld and fabricate but also offer field mowing during the warm seasons.

We are seeking skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have years of experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

- Fabricate and weld metal components based on specifications

- Utilize power tools and equipment such as calipers, rigs, and press brake machines

- Perform stick welding and plasma cutting tasks

- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements

- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

-Able to drive large Kubota tractors with basic mechanical knowledge.

Skills

- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations

- Mechanical knowledge to operate machinery effectively

- Experience with calipers for precise measurements

- Ability to rig materials for fabrication work

- Competency in using power tools safely

- Proficient in stick welding techniques

- Familiarity with operating a press brake machine for bending metal

- Skill in plasma cutting for metal fabrication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
