Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work on your own or part of a team. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.

Duties

- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.

- Conduct measurements using squares and tape measures to ensure precision in fabrication.

- Assemble components according to specifications while adhering to ASME codes & standards.

- Operate cranes and forklifts safely for material handling.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.

Experience

- Previous experience in a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes.

- Experience with machining, soldering, plasma cutting, and assembly tasks is advantageous.

- Basic math skills are essential for accurate measurements and calculations.

- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
