Stocker / Order Picker

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately selected, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment using pallet jacks.

- Maintain inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.

- Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and maintaining accurate records.

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space, including regular maintenance of equipment.

- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety standards.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to order status or product availability.

Skills

- Proficiency in inventory management systems and experience with RF scanners.

- Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred; certification may be required.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for effective inventory control.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed, ensuring safe handling of products.

- Experience in a warehouse setting or related fields such as retail sales or grocery store operations is advantageous.

- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication within the team and with customers.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
