Job Summary: Pierce Powerline Co. is seeking an Inventory Manager responsible for purchasing, inventory control, and operations for a wide range of company-owned products including IT devices, electronics, safety gear, flame-resistant (FR) clothing, PPE, and tools essential to utility operations. This role ensures accurate tracking of shipments and stock levels, manages vendor relationships, and develops strategies to maximize inventory turnover while minimizing losses. The Inventory Manager works closely with sales and operations and ensures that all materials and equipment are available to support field crews and deliver exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee a team of inventory or warehouse employees.

- Purchasing & Vendor Relations

- Manage inventory shipments and stock levels.

- Maximize inventory turns while minimizing inventory losses.

- Evaluate shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.

- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.

- Manages schedules of employees and shipments to optimize operations.

- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.

- Monitors demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.

- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or associate s degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar

- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role

- Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies

- Experience conducting tracking and data analysis- strong attention to detail

- Product and inventory management certification a plus

- Experience in managing high-cost capital goods inventory is a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
