Job Title: Convenience Store Associate (Part-Time)

Location: Diamond Bar, CA

We are currently hiring for part-time shifts and are prioritizing the following:

- Saturday | Overnight shifts | 10 PM to 6 AM

- Sunday | Overnight shifts | 10 PM to 6 AM

Job Overview

We are looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented overnight convenience store associate to help ensure smooth in-store operations. The primary responsibilities throughout the entire shift are cleaning and stocking tasks to keep the store organized, safe, and well-presented. Additional duties include welcoming customers, preventing shoplifting, arranging shelf displays, and processing transactions.

To succeed in this role, you should be well-organized, have strong communication skills, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

- Receive, process, and organize shipments and deliveries.

- Restock low or depleted items and maintain an organized sales floor.

- Assist customers and inform them about store promotions.

- Perform price audits to identify and correct discrepancies.

- Complete shift cleaning duties (e.g., wiping windows, mirrors, and fixtures; sweeping and mopping floors).

- Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.

- Process payments using the store’s Point of Sale (POS) system.

Preferred Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED preferred.

- Proven retail sales experience.

- Ability to stand for extended periods.

- Familiarity with labeling, pricing equipment, and POS software.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Exceptional customer service skills.

- Detail-oriented.

We may offer two bonuses per year (semiannual and annual). Be sure to ask about these during your interview.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
