Staff Accountant

Position Description:

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in the day-to-day operations and execution of accounting processes, as well as the refinement of accounting process and strategy to support Oklo's month-end close. This role will require involvement in bookkeeping responsibilities across accounts payable, billing, procurement, spend and expense, fixed asset identification, and lease accounting maintenance. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of accrual and prepaid schedules as well as preparing monthly reconciliation workbooks.

A second critical aspect of this role will be monthly and as needed internal control execution to support Oklo's SOX environment as it continues to grow as a public company. This will include supporting requests and inquiries from Oklo's external auditor as well as supporting needs of the internal audit function where needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering on key monthly and quarterly close duties and effectively communicating processes both internally with relevant stakeholders and externally with Oklo vendors. The ability to stay organized and deliver on key accounting close milestones will be a critical success factor.

About Oklo compensation: Salary: $85,000-$105,000

Salary may fall outside of the range provided and will be dependent on applicant experience.
