An Accountant specializing in Fixed Assets is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of company assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. The role ensures fixed asset records are accurate and compliant with accounting standards and company policies. Key duties include maintaining the fixed asset subledger, recording monthly depreciation, reconciling fixed assets to the general ledger, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role will also assist with audits, tracks capital expenditures, reviews asset documentation, and collaborates with departments on asset purchases and projects. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of GAAP, and proficiency with accounting systems and Excel are essential.
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts.
- Assist in period close process including month end, quarter end and year end
- Assist in preparation of internal monthly, quarterly, year-end, and one-off Financial Reporting.
- Track construction-in-progress (CIP) and place assets into service
- Maintain asset records in fixed asset management system
- Complete special projects as they arise.
- Publish financial statements
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Comply with financial policies and regulations

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
- Experience with NetSuite or other similar accounting software
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced MS Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
