The Project Manager is responsible for detailed planning of Boiler/Chemical Plant & Refinery Process Turnarounds. Leads turnover execution, provides schedule updates, manages manpower, tools, equipment and cost controls. Leads the QA/QC Management process and the Safety Management Process.
- Function as the Company's responsible onsite representative– internally and externally
- Demonstrate complete understanding of contract provisions and requirements – technically and commercially
- Demonstrate complete understanding of budget allowances and budget performance
- Direct project planning and scheduling activities; direct and monitor the adherence of the plan's execution
- Set expectations and provide clear direction to field management and support staff resources; conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings and jobsite safety audits and walkdowns; provide performance feedback
- Identify contract change events and take appropriate action; communicate issues to management in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain formal communications, adequate documentation, and records of the project
- Ensure proper implementation of the Company Safety Program and Quality Program
- Manage effective implementation of project controls and forecasts along with progress reporting
- Provide onsite management of labor relations and monitor manpower status – quality and quantity
- Extensive Boiler Retrofit / Process Unit -Refinery Turnaround Experience
- Proven Experience Leading Major Boiler Overhaul / Process Unit
- Familiar with General Boiler Maintenance and Repair, All phases of Turnaround work and pipefitting
- Be able to identify, trouble shoot, and facilitate boiler repairs
- Demonstrated experience managing Union Craft Labor
- Develop Jurisdictional Assignments
- Conduct Pre-Job Conferences with Local Building Trades
- Previous Refinery Experience
- Demonstrated proficient experience managing and executing multi-disciplined Refinery Turnaround
- Working Knowledge of Refinery Safety and Quality Requirements, Policies and Procedures

- Proven Proficient knowledge of Scheduling Fundamentals
- Strong Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Primavera, preferred
- Excellent Communicator
