The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for oversight of the consolidation , reporting (including report development), analysis and forecasting activities. This position will gain exposure to various areas in the business and levels of management as you maintain/develop reporting for the senior leadership team and SG&A stakeholders to monitor performance trends against defined KPI’s that drive strategic decisions. In addition, you will have general ledger responsibilities during the monthly closing process. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and self-starter that displays the characteristics of an emerging leader and business partner.
- Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget), identifying financial trends and preparing management and BOD (board of directors) reports
- Collaborate with support function department heads to develop budgets, manage operational expenses and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analyses and cross-functional projects, bringing structure and clarity to business issues
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
- Ensure accuracy of consolidated and entity level general ledger accounts by performing account reconciliations and/or analysis
- Maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and internal controls over financial reporting
- Identify and implement scalable improvements to financial reporting processes, enhancing efficiency, accuracy and team capacity with the assistance of AI tools
- Support the external reporting team and internal/external auditors related to quarterly filing and annual audit
- Support the integration of acquisitions into the existing financial reporting environment

- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Interact confidently and lead business discussions with peers, business partners and senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting or related field from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an analyst or accounting role
- Intermediate understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Basic understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Standards (SOX)
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
