Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Portland, OR, for a Manager of Load Forecasting. The Manager of Load Forecasting will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of load forecasts, including short-term and long-term analysis. Daily tasks include collecting and analyzing data, developing forecasting models, monitoring forecast accuracy, and collaborating with various departments to support operational and strategic planning.

- Experience in developing and implementing load forecasting models, including short-term and long-term analysis

- Proficiency in data collection, data analysis, and statistical modeling

- Knowledge of energy systems, grid operations, and renewable energy integration

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics

- Experience with relevant software and tools

- Ability to work on-site in Portland, OR

- Advanced degrees and professional certifications in related fields are a plus
