Summary: Perform documented PM’s and assist in repairs and installation of machinery and controls. This is an entry-level position into the Maintenance Team. Candidates should show signs of the skills needed to obtain a Maintenance Team position. Candidates must be flexible to work different schedules primarily when production is not running or as needed.
Minimum Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to have mechanical, electrical and computer skills along with machining experience preferably as either a Manufacturing Specialist or other PM Tech position.
Education: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or working on degree with related experience and or training, as a combination of experience and education.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The team member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to climb or balance. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as sums, dividends, percentages, ranges, averages, etc. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
