Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at A-1 Asphalt Inc. This role is essential in maintaining our equipment and facilities, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality asphalt services. Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery used in asphalt paving and repair.

Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.

•

Conduct electrical repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure operational efficiency.

•

Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting equipment problems.

•

Fabricate parts as necessary to support maintenance operations.

•

Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

•

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are functional.

•

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

•

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment maintenance or repair.

•

Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.

•

Familiarity with reading schematics for various machinery.

•

Experience in facilities maintenance is highly desirable.

•

Ability to weld is a plus but not mandatory.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

•

Basic communication skills in English are required for effective teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.05 - $27.84 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 65 per week
