Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!!
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HEAVY DUTY maintenance of Utility/Construction equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic will play a critical role on our team, ensuring the overall efficiency and safety of our equipment for the operations.
Responsibilities:
•Perform work on equipment on such brands as Kenworth, Peterbilt, Freightliner, and on international chassis.
•Ability to make major and minor repairs on construction/utility equipment and fleet of trucks: engine repairs and tune ups, fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic & transmission work, cooling systems, chassis repairs, brake work, etc.
•Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, etc.
•Perform diagnostic testing
•Maintain accurate records of repairs performed
Requirements:
•5 years’ experience in heavy duty maintenance of utility / construction equipment.
•Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
•Ability to read and decipher schematics.
•Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair comprehensive issues on equipment, using diagnostic test equipment.
•Must be willing to work weekends if needed and travel may be required.
•Must have own basic tools, company will provide specialty tools needed for equipment.
•Must have a valid driver’s license, Class B recommended, not required.
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
•Will be required to join IBEW Local Union 104

Pay: $43.13 - $48.88 per hour
