Maintenance Mechanic

Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company heavy equipment

MUST have experience working on heavy equipment, bobcats, cranes, forklifts, diesel motors

Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, hydraulics, and lubricating equipment, and machinery

Replace tires, repair and maintain trailers

Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment.

Diagnose and repair engines, electrical and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, hydraulics, cooling systems, exhaust, brakes, suspensions, lights on a variety of yard equipment, heavy duty trucks, trailers, and other equipment.

Safely operate forklifts, torches, grinders, and various hand and power tools

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management

Mechanics with welding skills may fabricate shields, attachments, and brackets

3+ years’ experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus

Outdoor environment

$22-30 an hour based on experience
