Position
Aurora Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Asset Manager/Service Technician to join our company in the solar (PV) industry. This position will maintain a portfolio of residential and commercial PV installations in the DMV area. Key tasks are service visits and performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
•Service calls for residential and commercial solar arrays
•Manage portfolio of warranty, O&M, and service clients
•Draft estimates and service agreements
•Troubleshoot electrical, control equipment faults, monitoring issues, et cetera
•Perform preventative and corrective maintenance visits
•Commissioning for new commercial solar project installations
•Manage and maintain warehouse
•Adhere to Company policies, quality, environmental health and safety policies and good housekeeping practices
•Additional duties required as needed.
Requirements
•At least one (3) years of solar installation experience required
•Must be able to perform all necessary work on rooftops, including observing all safety measures
•Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
•High school diploma or GED required
•Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
•Excellent customer service skills required
•Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
•Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment screen
•Electrical experience preferred
•NABCEP Certification preferred
•OSHA Certification preferred
