Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Small Water & Wastewater Systems Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing small water or wastewater systems . The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience with wastewater and water treatment and distribution systems, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and quality of our water supply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain small water & wastewater systems in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Perform routine maintenance on water treatment and distribution systems, including pumps, valves, and motors.

Monitor water quality and conduct regular water testing to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Respond to customer inquiries and complaints regarding water quality and service issues.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to perform water quality tests.

Maintain accurate records of water treatment and distribution activities.

Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs as needed.

Assist with the installation of new water treatment and distribution systems.

Participate in training and continuing education to stay current with industry standards and regulations.

Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in water treatment or a related field preferred.

- Must have Minimun 2 years of experience in water treatment or wastewater systems.

- Valid Colorado Water Treatment Plant Operator or Distribution System Certificate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,760.00 - $75,000.00 per year
