Slitter Operator - 3rd Shift

- Promote a strong safety culture and follow all plant safety policies.

- Operate and adjust slitters to process metal coils per specifications.

- Inspect material during processing to ensure quality standards.

- Identify, document, and properly label slit materials.

- Repair minor mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment.

- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other machinery safely.

- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

- Communicate effectively with team members and escalate issues as needed.

- Assist with bulk product inspections and defect removal.

- Participate in training and certification programs.

- Train new operators when necessary.

- Use precision tools (micrometers, calipers) for quality control.

- Other duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Manufacturing experience preferred.

- Sufficient ability to maintain records and reports.

- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

- Working knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

- Understanding of production procedures.

- Analytical skills.

- Attention to detail.

- Teamwork and communication skills
