About the role

The Site Services Labourer will be directly responsible for providing service and maintenance support to the Site Services team at the Red Lake Operations.

The position will be on an 5 days on / 2 days off / 4 days on / 3 days off (9.5 hour day) residential roster.

Key result areas in this role include:

Operate surface machinery such as forklift, grader, loader, scissorlift)

Loading and transporting heavy objects

Conduct general building repairs

Maintaining site roads

Emptying site garbage bins

Snow removal

Grass cutting and brush clearing

Assisting tradespeople as required

Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements

Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Complete other tasks as assigned

About you

As a Labourer Site Services, it is preferred that you have a Grade 12 education.

It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:

Valid Class G driver’s license

A postive attitude and able to work independently

Trained in Surface Common Core or willingness to obtain

Experience working with mobile equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and language

Familiar with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants
