Labourer

Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support metal recycling and other labor-related activities. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Assisting customer with loading and unloading of their materials

- Sorting different grades of metals.

- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately.

- Maintain proper safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.

- Torch operating, need to be clean shaven as wearing a mask is necessary.

Experience

- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.

- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.

- Strong friendly communication skills and the ability to follow directions effectively.

- A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety regulations.
