The Copper Mountain mine currently produces approximately 100 million pounds of copper equivalent per year. With a future mill expansion and the integration of New Ingerbelle, the Copper Mountain Mine is expected to produce approximately 140 million pounds of copper equivalent per year over the first 20 years of its 32-year mine life based on reserves. Position Site Services Supervisor Location

Copper Mountain Mine, is located near the town of Princeton, British Columbia at the center of the scenic Similkameen Valley. Princeton is a community-oriented town with a diverse offering of activities, especially for those who love the outdoors. Princeton is also in close proximity to both the city of Vancouver and the Okanagan.

Summary

Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Superintendent, the Mill Maintenance Site Services Supervisor is responsible for developing and supervising a Site Services team, and a work culture that recognizes the company’s commitment to quality, availability, responsiveness, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the sites services team to ensure the safe maintenance and operations of the water

management facilities and general building maintenance,

- Responsible for the safe completion of weekly maintenance plans for the Site Services team,

- Follow Copper Mountain Mine’s Fan Out procedure with respect to any safety, environment, personnel, or production issues,

- Ensure team members have received pertinent training for them to successfully complete any

task they may be given,

- Support the Mill Maintenance Superintendent in team and strategic development,

- Work closely with site operations as well as other groups and suppliers,

- Participate in developing and executing maintenance improvement initiatives,

- Coordinate with all departments to ensure purpose and direction regarding maintenance

activities within the site,

- Manage daily and weekly reporting and communication between Site Services crews,

- Oversee documentation submission for work orders and timecards from Site Services team

Members,

- Build and execute the weekly plan for the Site services department,

- Support our team members by making sure they have the tools, materials, and work orders to

complete their assigned duties,

- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

- Millwright, or Electrical Red Seal is required,

- Previous Supervision experience in maintenance industry, preferably mine/mill processing related.

- Previous experience utilizing Maximo or a comparable CMMS is an asset,

- Previous computer related skills are an asset,

- Possess a valid Class 5/7N British Columbia driver’s license and have access to personal transportation.

Required Skills

- Able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills,

- Solid understanding of all processes related to site services such as water pumping systems, building maintenance, potable water systems, effluent systems, and carpentry,

- Strong comprehension of both, the principles of preventative maintenance and maintenance planning,

- Able to work efficiently and in a safe manner without supervision,

- Able to work collaboratively with other team members in a positive manner,

- Must work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a strong work ethic,

- Required to meet pre-employment testing requirements.

Working Conditions

- Team environment with regularly scheduled and ad-hoc meetings,

- Work includes manual dexterity to use desktop computers and peripheral devices,

- Occasional exposure to hazardous environments with the requirement of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),

- Frequent exposure to uncomfortable conditions associated with the work environment such as noise and working in dusty and wet environments,

- Work requires heavy lifting, awkward positions, walking and standing,

- Exceptional exposure to unfavorable working conditions associated with the work environment such as confined spaces, ladders, and/or rooftops,

- Work involves pushing, pulling, and moving equipment and/or supplies over 50 pounds,

- Must be clean-shaven.

Salary Range

$124K - $138K / annum.
