Shop Hand Part Time / Temporary

Key Responsibilities:

- Shop Maintenance: Sweeping, cleaning work areas, organizing tools, and keeping the shop and yard tidy.

- Equipment Prep: Pressure washing, cleaning parts, painting, and performing basic upkeep on tools and machinery.

- Assisting Tradespeople: Helping mechanics, welders, or fabricators with tasks like moving materials, fetching tools, and basic repairs (e.g., tires, bearings).

- Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and organizing incoming/outgoing materials and finished products.

- Safety & Compliance: Following all company safety policies, using equipment correctly, and completing safety training.

- Administrative Support: May involve processing paperwork, taking equipment photos, or answering company phones.

Typical Skills & Qualifications:

- Education: high school diploma or GED

- Abilities: Physical stamina, strong work ethic, good listening, communication, and organizational skills.

- Traits: Adaptability, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow instructions effectively.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
