The Shop Hand is responsible for performing daily duties related to the general upkeep and maintenance of the shop and facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Works with ethics, honesty, values, and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.
•Performs various shop duties including maintaining a clean work environment inside and outside the shop.
•Completes preventative maintenance, make ready, and wash procedures.
•Cleans, paints, and loads equipment and tools.
•Repairs trailers including bearings, wheels, tires, brakes, and lighting under Mechanic supervision.
•Uses all electrical tools, safety devices, and equipment according to Company policies and safety procedures.
•Operates skid steer and forklift according to Company polices and safety standards.
•Completes all required monthly safety and equipment-related trainings.
•Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience
Required
•High School or GED equivalent.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Ability to lift 50+ pounds required.
•Must be able to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.
•Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
•Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent they understand verbal and written instructions in English
