Needing a field and shop mechanic for our equipment rental company located in Monahans, TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment from trailers to light plants to forklifts, etc. This role is critical in ensuring that our machinery operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Duties
•
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including cranes and other machinery.
•
Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
•
Provide tire service for various types of vehicles and equipment.
•
Utilize power tools effectively and safely during repair processes.
•
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
•
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients regarding equipment issues or service needs.
Experience
•
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
•
Ability to work with power tools safely and effectively.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
•
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
