About This Job

Description:

Yard hand will be expected to perform manual labor throughout the yard. Duties will include but not be limited to industrial yard work, housekeeping, receiving, and stocking.

Duties and Responsibilities

•

Maintain organization of yard with guidance from management

•

Consolidating partial containers of same chemical

•

Ensure labels are present on all chemicals

•

Loading/ unloading incoming and outgoing trucks with chemical

•

Housekeeping around the yard

•

Repackaging chemical in out of spec containers

•

Assisting with yard counts / inventory

•

Contacting dedicated company for removal of empty containers

•

Collecting incoming and outgoing BOLs for inventory tracking

•

Other tasks may be assigned as needed

Requirements:

Qualifications and skills

•

Must be highly safety conscious

•

Forklift operating experience highly preferred

Working conditions and Hazards

•

Working outside in severe cold and/ or hot conditions

•

Working with chemicals that are toxic, corrosive and/ or hazardous

Physical Demands

•

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

•

Ability to climb ladders and stairs
