Hi-Kalibre Equipment is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated Service Technician/Shop Hand to join our team on a contract basis at our Houston office (10197 Windfern Road). The Service Technician, will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and assembling products for our customers. This candidate will also be responsible for deliveries, shipping and receiving and other duties.

Position Responsibilities:
•Dismantling and cleaning of incoming repair work in a timely manner.
•Estimation of repair work including measuring, evaluating and critical comparison of used equipment to provided engineering and production standards.
•High quality and timely assembly of both new OEM and customer equipment after estimation.
•Coordinate shipments and deliveries.
•Palletizing shipments and preparing and reviewing paper work.
•Operate forklift to load and unload shipments.
•Deliver products to clients.
•Receiving deliveries, including completion of paperwork and verification.
•Maintenance and stocking of the completed equipment inventory warehouse.
•Performing job specific tasks required for the production of new equipment, such as painting and lapping.
•Report quality issues through our Non-Conformance Report (NCR) as required.
•Perform work in accordance with safety program and procedures, with due care and attention for both yourself and your co-workers.
•Meet or exceed allotted repair operation times to ensure that the overall service schedule can be met.
•Storing parts in the proper locations.
•Entering all parts into EPICOR as stock.
•Pulling parts for assembly, repair jobs and supplies.
•Proper packing and labeling of stock for shipment.
•Any other duties as directed by your Supervisor
Qualification Requirements: (Minimum Education and Experience)
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Mechanical background is preferable.
•Some Oilfield experience and working in the shop environment.
•Able to display at all times, good aptitude along with the ability to learn and retain knowledge of Company’s products and services.
•Self-starter; motivated, task focused and results driven.
•Good oral and written communication skills.
•Must have valid Class C drivers license
HSE Requirements: (Training and Physical Demands)
•Must be able to sit, and/or stand for long periods of time.
•Must be able to bend, kneel, twist and climb stairs.
•Exposure to dust, fume, gases and change of temperature and humidity.
•Able to lift and carry equipment.
•Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training is required.
•Forklift Training may be required.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
