Shop Coordinator

At Vector, we deliver industry-leading electrical testing, commissioning, and maintenance services with a strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability. We’re growing and looking for a dependable, hands-on Shop Coordinator to support day-to-day operations out of our Plano, TX location.

This role is essential in keeping our field teams moving—managing inventory, prepping equipment, coordinating logistics, and making sure our trailers and tools are ready for the job.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Drive company truck and safely pull equipment trailers

- Operate forklift to move and load heavy equipment

- Load/unload equipment (must be able to lift 60–80 lbs)

- Organize the shop and maintain clean, efficient workspace

- Pick up and deliver tools, parts, and equipment as needed

- Track inventory; assist with calibration processes

- Coordinate with project teams to support jobsite readiness

- Help ensure tools and trailers are job-ready and maintained

What You Bring:

- Valid driver’s license and experience driving trucks with trailers

- Forklift operation experience

- Physically able to lift and load equipment (60–80 lbs)

- Basic knowledge of hand tools and jobsite equipment (a plus!)

- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Logistics or inventory experience is a plus
