We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working with various tools and machinery while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the assembly and fabrication of products on the assembly line.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery as needed for production tasks.

- Support warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.

- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Skills

- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.

- Familiarity with assembly processes and techniques is advantageous.

- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues is essential.

- Experience operating forklifts is a plus.

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
