About This Job

Job Summary

As a Shipping Lead you will oversee and coordinate the daily shipping and receiving operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of products to customers while maintaining efficient warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

•

Supervise shipping and receiving staff to ensure smooth operations

•

Coordinate with carriers to schedule shipments and track deliveries

•

Oversee inventory management and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments

•

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors

•

Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the warehouse

•

Train and mentor team members on proper shipping procedures

•

Resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies

Experience

•

Prior experience in a shipping or warehouse management role

•

Proficiency in AS400 or similar warehouse management systems

•

Knowledge of e-commerce shipping processes

•

Strong understanding of logistics, materials handling, and warehouse operations

•

Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed

•

Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues

Qualifications:

•

High school diploma or equivalent.

•

2+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving role, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory position.

•

Knowledge of shipping software and ERP systems (e.g., UPS/FedEx platforms, SAP, NetSuite).

•

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

•

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

•

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:
