FPM Heat Treating is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for our Will Call/ Shipping dept . The ideal candidate will have experience working with Will Call and Shipping; assisting FPM customers to receive/release all incoming and outgoing customer products. This position must accurately process paperwork, support FPM's Truck Drivers with proper paperwork for their daily shipments, and be extremely Customer Service Friendly. The candiate will have attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to help ensure that our Will Call/ Shipping operations run smoothly. This is a full time position with hours of 5am-1pm
· Receives, releases, and records customer orders through will-call area. Fork truck is required.
· Answers and routes customer phone calls, inquiries and concerns. Promptly contacts proper FPM personnel with customer product concerns and questions. This position is the intermediate between customers, management, and shop.
· Expedites delivery requests within established time constraints.
· Responsible for some order processing, data entry, filing, faxing, copying, and other clerical duties.
· Tracks and charts response time required to commit to the customer and tracks all workflow to establish delivery standards and charts.
· Receives and Expedites Fed-ex and UPS deliveries.
· Maintains a pleasant and positive disposition with all customers and visitors.
· Must be dependable and have the flexibility to work overtime or fill in on other shifts as may be needed.
· Provides back-up to other positions within the Customer Service Department.
· Schedules and supervises the shipping, packaging associates as well as the cleaning dept.
· Performs other duties as may be assigned.
· Must use good common sense and be capable of making informed decisions.
· Have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
