POSITION PURPOSE:

Ensure that all employees follow all DC operations procedures
Assure employees prepare all internationals documentation and that they comply with shipment’s and customer’s requirements
Make sure all company polices and safety rules are followed at all times
Monitor all customer service order’s requirements via email
Lead is also responsible for providing proper training to all personnel in Ship confirming, picking, labeling, receiving, put away
Maintain high 5s standards
Ensure that all company policies and safety rules are followed
POSITION SUMMARY:
Customer Service support
Set up International shipments
Closely monitor customer service and customer’s email requests or changes.
Documentation for international shipments.
Rate quotes of both domestic and international shipments.
Update all work instructions and DCPROs when required
Set up shipments with the international freight forwarders.
Back track shipments if something is missing in boxes, etc.
Request picks for the department in the morning and throughout the day.
Assist CSR when issues on plans
Verify that Ship Plans are complete in JDE
Train all new employees as needed.
Log and monitor all lines in ship plans and provide order status to customer service.
Ship confirm
Pick orders
Unload trailer as needed.
Receive and put away finish goods
Oversee supplies needed.
SPECIFIC TYPES OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
High School Diploma + minimum of 3 years warehouse experience.
Intermediate Computer Skills.
JDE knowledge.
Bilingual, English/Spanish.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ship and invoice all sales orders shipped to company’s customers.
Accurately label all boxes when shipment requires it.
Place boxes and/or packages of process order in proper carrier skid or truck.
Other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Employee will be exposed to moderate noise level. Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold. High forklift traffic.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Employee must be able to work standing, sitting, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling of parts, lift up to 50 lbs. Move boxes 50% of the time or more.
