Shipping Coordinator

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Assists Sales and Inventory Department by performing duties related to shipping and receiving of products along with maintaining warehouse. Responsible for shipment and receipt of freight for all departments of the company.

DUTIES:

1. Coordinate the pickup of materials by freight carriers consistent with delivery requirements.

2. Pick up and deliver materials in Tube-Alloy vehicle when needed. Must operate vehicle consistent with Tube-Alloy safe driving manual.

3. Complete all documents related to shipping and receiving, i.e., Bill of Lading(s), Receiving Inspection Report(s), Inventory Pull Sheet(s), etc.

4. Receive calls after normal working hours and take appropriate action.

5. Generate Bill of Ladings.

6. Maintain warehouse, trucks, forklift and other assigned assets in a clean and safe condition.

7. Approve all freight invoices.

8. Receive and review completed work-orders f/accuracy per sales orders.

9. Forward shipped sales orders to Inventory f/processing.

10. Assist in operating forklift to transport material throughout plant and load & unload vehicles.

11. Supervise all shipping and receiving personnel and ensure they accomplish that which is set forth in their job description.

12. Ensure warehouse movement Tickets and Traceability documents are correctly filled out.

13. Perform other dutties as assigned

REPORTS TO: Department Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person as applicable per facility

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School Degree or GED. Education requirements may be satisfied through alternative education and/or previous job experience.

EXPERIENCE: Work experience in a shipping/receiving department or previous work experience in another department of Tube-Alloy is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Requires basic math skills and ability to operate basic office equipment. Maintain a current driver’s license in state of residence and maintain insurability consistent with company’s insurance requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Class I (Vallourec Tube-Alloy Physical & Environmental Requirements)

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: As detailed in Minimum Training Requirements Manual.
