Service Station Attendant - Part-Time

Pay from $15-$20 per hour based on experience.

Position Summary:

This Part-Time position provide excellent customer service to patrons frequenting the Service Station.

Essential Functions:

- Handle cash/credit card transactions from patrons for product at the Service Station.

- Fill up gas tanks when necessary.

- Deal with customers in a courteous and effective manner.

- Collect and dispose of trash outside.

- Charge purchases to customer’s credit cards, provide customers with receipts.

- Answer questions and provide directions if needed.

- Flexibility in scheduling days, evening, and weekends is necessary

- Perform other tasks as needed.

Contacts:

This position deals frequently with managers at all levels both inside and outside the company and suppliers.

Other Tasks:

Performs other tasks as requested.

Education:

High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Experience:

Previous customer service experience required.

Equipment used:

Cash register, gas pump, basic cleaning items, etc.

Desicions Made:

Most decisions are specific and routine. Questions are referred to immediate supervisor.

Physical Requiremtns Analysis:

- The position requires frequent sitting along with occasional standing and walking

- There is frequent use of the fingers to write, use a computer, and handle paperwork

- There is frequent communication involving both speaking and listening in person and over the telephone
