JOB DESCRIPTION

Modern Machinery is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Heavy Equipment Service Manager for our Pocatello, ID branch. As the Service Manager, you will manage the day-to-day service operations and maintain compliant with all company policies, with safety as our #1 focus. Interact with all employees, customers, and vendors in a professional manner, and train service personnel within the company.

The annual salary range for this position is: $90,000 to $100,000. This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime pay.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Control and evaluate department P&L, including capital expenditures. + Review and evaluate all work orders for accuracy. + The company goal is to close all work orders within seven (7) days from the last date of labor. + Approve all Service Department personnel’s paid time off (PTO) requests and time away from work while maintaining an adequate workforce for customer support. + Negotiate and settle customer disputes both internally and externally. + Hold monthly shop and quarterly safety committee meetings. + Maintain environmental compliance with all City, State, and Federal agencies. + Maintain a positive workplace. + Always following company policies and procedures.
