The Service Manager at Rogers Heating & Cooling will lead our Service Technicians to deliver top-quality maintenance, repairs, and customer care. This role works closely with technicians, dispatch, installers, and other supervisors to ensure our customers receive a 5-star experience while the department meets its goals. The Service Manager also communicates with customers, vendors, and suppliers to keep projects on track and provide real-time updates on job status and material needs.

Lead HVAC service and maintenance teams to deliver excellent workmanship and service • Oversee scheduling and provide technical support to technicians in the field • Drive team accountability and performance based on monthly revenue goals • Review technician performance to ensure standards are met and exceeded • Facilitate regular training and development for technicians • Recruit, hire, and onboard top HVAC talent to meet growing demand • Ensure all work aligns with safety regulations and company service standards • Maintain compliance with OSHA and industry best practices • Support cross-departmental collaboration to maintain operational efficiency • Perform additional tasks to ensure the department’s success
Motivational leadership and team development experience • Ability to select, coach, and retain high-performing team members • Strong customer service presence—friendly, professional, and solution-focused • Comfortable handling confidential or sensitive team matters with discretion • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence • Time management skills to effectively handle competing priorities • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and guide HVAC system repairs • Solid mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency • Balanced approach to individual and team-based problem-solving • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and reporting
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred • At least 8 years of HVAC or related trade experience required • 4+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to spend extended periods standing, sitting, or walking • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs • Will work near hazardous materials and mechanical equipment • May be exposed to moderate noise levels and live/dead wildlife • Must wear appropriate PPE when necessary (goggles, gloves, etc.) • May work in elevated spaces or tight quarters • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities
