Senior Technical Support Specialist (Overnight, Weekends)

We're looking for a skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to monitor and maintain our fiber network systems during weekend/overnight shifts. You’ll support services like internet, email, phone, video, and hosted Wi-Fi, providing high-level technical support to field teams and business customers.
What You’ll Do
•Monitor and respond to network alarms and service outages
•Troubleshoot and provision services: internet, email, video, Wi-Fi, and VoIP
•Support complex telecom setups (e.g., HPBX, SIP trunks, IADs)
•Assist field crews and customer service teams with Tier 3 support
•Maintain accurate technical documentation and internal resources
•Lead overnight operations and manage shift responsibilities without direct supervision
•Work cross-functionally to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
•Support on-call and overtime needs, including holiday coverage
What You’ll Need
•5+ years of experience in networking, telecom, or telephony
•Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•Familiarity with VoIP, networking, and telecom technologies
•Be comfortable with Windows, Microsoft Office, and learning many technical software tools
•Ability to multitask, stay focused, and adapt to shifting priorities
Certifications & Requirements
•Obtain Network+ certification & ESA Alarm License
•Complete Splunk Fundamentals & Metaswitch Overview classes
•Willingness to work nights, weekends, and take on-call/overtime duties
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
