Studio Steelborn is a high-end custom metal studio based in Toronto, working with leading interior designers, architects, builders, and homeowners. We specialize in architectural metal, custom hardware, railings, enclosures, and bespoke fabricated details for finished residential and commercial spaces.
We are hiring a senior-level, highly capable individual to replace a key team member. This is not an entry-level role and is not suitable for recent graduates or junior candidates.
This role sits at the intersection of design, fabrication, coordination, and installation. You will be trusted to operate independently and make informed decisions that directly impact project success.
This is a thinking role. A large portion of the job involves being given an inspiration image, completing a site measure, and translating that into clear, buildable shop drawings in Fusion 360, with a deep understanding of how the piece will actually be fabricated, finished, delivered, and installed.
You will also act as a key coordination point between Studio Steelborn, suppliers, trades, and clients.
If you need constant instruction or are uncomfortable owning decisions, this role is not a fit.
