At MPC, we’re committed to being a great place to work – one that welcomes new ideas, encourages diverse perspectives, develops our people, and fosters a collaborative team environment.

Ready to build a rewarding career in Safety at Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) We are seeking a Personal Safety Professional (PSP) located in Garyville. The selected PSP will provide safety oversight and support for Marathon Marine locations and Boats; locations include the Lower Mississippi, ICW (Intracoastal Waterway), Texas City, local Shipyards, and all MPC docks. Safety oversight and support are subject to change in the future. This position will work very closely with Marine Leadership and Operations to achieve safety goals and objectives. The PSP will be involved in the day-to-day operational activities as well as Vesel outage work to ensure the safety of all personnel and contractors. Pending business needs, asset growth, and resource fluctuation, the position’s coverage areas (outside of the host area) may change to support the business.

This position is part of a progression based on candidate experience.
