Position Summary
As a Technology Sourcing Senior Manager at Oncor, you’ll proactively lead and manage the selection of technology suppliers to ensure third party products and services meet the needs of Oncor. This role will ensure all technology contracts, totaling millions of dollars, are structured to deliver products and services at fair market prices and according to agreed terms meeting Oncor requirements and minimizing risks. This position will work closely with key stakeholders to optimize the goods and services suppliers provide to Oncor.
This position is a hybrid work environment with 3+ days in-office at the listed location.
Key Responsibilities•Lead, coordinate and manage technology sourcing, contract management budgets, processes and tools.
•Serve as the primary liaison with sourcing stakeholders including, but not limited to technology asset owners, project teams, financial teams, Oncor legal, Oncor treasury, and technology suppliers throughout the sourcing process.
•Lead interpretation of contract terms and completion of contract changes.
•Engage technology teams to understand third party requirements and develop/enhance third party contracts to meet requirements.
•Partner with the Technology Supplier Relationship Management and Asset Management teams to provide briefings on suppliers and associated third party contract compliance, performance, costs, and value received.
•Serve as a leader educating and working with technology teams on the technology sourcing process.
•Participate in supplier benchmarking and provide market insight based on research and known industry data.
•Optimize contracts based on Oncor requirements and industry benchmarks.
•Serve as a leader in the management of technology products and service completive bids, contract negotiations, supplier requests and supplier selections.
•Lead, coordinate and manage resolution of risks, issues and decisions related to Technology Sourcing.
•Manage the technology sourcing pipeline and operational procurement end to end process.
•Provide strategic direction and guidance in the areas of technology strategic sourcing and procurement.

Education & Experience
•High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and 7+ years of related work experience with at least 5+ of those years within in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, and/or commercial governance.
•Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information System (MIS) or related area 6+ years of related work experience with at least 4+ of those years within in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, and/or commercial governance.
•Applicants with direct experience sourcing technology services including software as a service (SAAS), software, and hardware are encouraged to apply.
