The Senior FP&A Manager is responsible for the forward-looking financial aspects of the organization. This individual will work closely with leadership managing the annual budget process, maintaining monthly forecasts, and building various financial models that deliver meaningful insights into company performance and operations of our various mine sites. As needed, the FP&A manager will also assist with month end close procedures, presentation preparation, treasury/cash management and ad-hoc financial analysis projects.
Manage the continuous development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and modeling tools, including 3-statement company forecast model
Consolidate various data sources and multiple plant operating models into a unified company forecast
Advise on capital allocation and optimizing the company’s capital structure to meet long-term financing needs
Train and mentor team members, including delegation of tasks and review of work product for accuracy and opportunities to improve
Support the annual strategic planning process through execution of site- and company-level scenario analysis
Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly forecast and variance reports
Implement and utilize business intelligence tools to streamline reporting
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, including NPV, IRR, and other project return calculations
Assess and quantify key risks and opportunities for capital projects
Work with management team on identifying, evaluating, and diligence on potential acquisitions, corporate development opportunities, and divestitures
Assist in presentations to the Board of Directors and senior management team.
At least 5 (five) years’ related experience; experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or accounting, and banking
Previous experience in mining, agricultural or energy industry
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills including multi-year forecasting and financial statement models
Strong working knowledge of financial reporting (GAAP), cash flow statements, investments, and organizational structures
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to summarize the key points in an analysis
Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Incumbents must be able to perform work that requires typing, reading, communicating, sitting for prolonged periods of time, standing, and walking.

Is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms
Is occasionally required to walk and climb or balance
May occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
In the event that the incumbent visits an operations worksite, personal protective equipment including but not limited to head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame-resistant clothing may be required.
Targeted salary range for this position is $175,000-$190,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience and skill set.
