JOB SUMMARY
The FP&A Manager will report to the CFO and will be responsible for leading the maintenance and enhancement of the corporate financial model. This will include working with executive leadership to develop best practices around forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business support. This position will oversee one financial analyst. In addition, the manager will participate heavily in special projects related to business development, strategic growth, and ad hoc analysis.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting & Analysis:
•Lead financial modeling and analysis by owning and developing key financial models.
•Lead the annual revenue, opex, and capex budget/forecast process.
•Prepare and present budgeting and forecasting data and analysis for key reports and presentations.
•Support development and preparation of monthly and quarterly P&L and cash flow results.
•Monitor and update corporate metrics and KPIs to reflect financial performance.
•Analyze data sets, identify and understand impacts to business, and develop recommendations.
•Support the CFO in evaluating and identify financial trends, highlight opportunities for improvement and create effective exhibits to explain the business.
•Prepare other analysis and economic evaluations as requested.
Special Projects:
•Support in identification of potential acquisitions/divestitures through modeling scenarios in conjunction with the corporate model.
•Assist in market sector monitoring for opportunities and threats.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting (or other quantitative disciplines) required
•Advanced Excel experience required, with demonstrated financial modeling expertise including scenario analysis and building complex models.
•Advanced ability to build well thought out PowerPoint decks to tell the story on complex business problems is a must.
•5-10 Years of experience preferred.
