The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for supporting OneStream, developing and maintaining financial reports, and leading the budget and forecast processes. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a strong background in OneStream, have experience in financial planning and analysis, and effectively manage deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
Job Responsibilities
•Serve as the primary point of contact for all OneStream-related matters, including administration, security, and system enhancements.
•Lead the implementation of new OneStream initiatives, overseeing OneStream consultants.
•Provide OneStream support during budget, long-term operating model (LOM), and forecast processes.
•Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior leadership, highlighting key insights and findings.
•Lead the General & Administrative (G&A) Budget and Forecast process for the entire company, providing reporting and analysis to senior management.
•Lead the Exploration Budget and Forecast process, providing cost analysis and insights to senior management.
•Maintain complex operational and financial models, particularly for cost analysis.
•Develop and review management presentations for the Executive Team and Board of Directors, including Quarterly Business Reviews and Monthly Reports.
•Collaborate with FP&A team members and other departments to evaluate business cases, projects, strategic planning, and operational support.
•Assist with special projects and other duties as required.
Job Requirements
•This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, finance or equivalent with a minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in finance, capital markets or operations.
•Experience in the mining industry, with an understanding of cost drivers and operations.
•Extensive experience and strong knowledge
of OneStream; programming and development experience is an asset.
•Proficiency in Power BI is an asset.
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
•Strong knowledge of financial processes, including accounting, financial reporting, tax, budgeting and planning.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience interacting at all organizational levels.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic, data-driven approach.
•Fluency in French (written and spoken) is considered an asset.
•Toronto-based, with a willingness to travel occasionally to Allied Gold’s operations in Africa.
