IAMGOLD is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Technology to lead the transformation of our HR systems landscape and drive strategic technology initiatives across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of HR at IAMGOLD by modernizing our platforms, optimizing data governance, and enhancing employee experience through innovative solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic execution and operational oversight of IAMGOLD’s HR technology ecosystem. You will lead the modernization of Oracle EBS and integration with cloud-based HCM platforms, acting as a key liaison between HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors. Your leadership will ensure seamless delivery of HR technology initiatives that support business growth, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.
You will oversee the configuration, integration, and optimization of HR systems including Oracle EBS, Kronos, Payworks, OrgChart, Cognibox, SharePoint, and Microsoft Fabric. You’ll ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance, while managing upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with IT and external partners. You’ll also champion the deployment of AI capabilities and data governance protocols to maintain high-quality employee information.
As a strategic partner, you’ll engage with internal stakeholders across Corporate and Operations teams in Canada and West Africa, providing guidance and training on system capabilities and best practices. You’ll manage vendor relationships and contribute to the design of the HR Technology team structure to support long-term sustainability and delivery.
To excel in this role, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 10+ years of progressive experience in HR technology, including leadership roles in transformational projects. Proven experience with Oracle EBS and cloud-based HCM systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors) is essential.
You’ll bring strong project management skills, a deep understanding of HR processes and systems integration, and excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Your strategic mindset and ability to influence across complex organizational structures will be key to your success.
