We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and analytical Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. This individual will support the financial operations of multiple business units by leading the monthly close process, generating financial reports, supporting budgeting/forecasting, and partnering with leadership to drive profitability and business insight. What You’ll Be Doing:
Multi-Entity Accounting
•Own the full month-end close process across multiple operating entities. No fluff—just clean, accurate, actionable financials.
•Prepare consolidated financials, flash reports, and performance dashboards for leadership.
•Work closely with AR/AP team to ensure data flows are clean and timely.
Cost Accounting & Analysis
•Dive into BOMs, inventory flows, and production variances. Get your hands dirty figuring out what’s working and what’s not.
•Partner with operations to align costs, improve margins, and tighten controls.
•Help establish true cost models and support margin optimization efforts across SKUs and business units.
Forecasting & Strategy
•Support decision-making with insightful, just-in-time financial analysis.
•Be the financial sounding board for plant managers, sales leaders, and executive teams.
Process Building
•Build out SOPs, automate where possible, and implement scalable reporting structures.
•Act as an in-house ERP whisperer (, QuickBooks, etc.)—optimizing system use and digging into the data.
You’ll Thrive Here If You…
•Have 5–10 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
•Are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating ERP systems (Sage 50/100, QuickBooks, Southware, etc.).
•Know your way around cost structures, inventory valuation, and gross margin analysis.
•Can toggle between big-picture strategy and deep-in-the-weeds journal entries.
