1.0 INTRODUCTION

Background

: Exploration projects are seasonal and require additional contract labor to meet deadlines,

especially during drilling programs. Tamarack Geological Services will provide a contract geologist to assist a mine in Eastern Nevada with surface drilling that includes helping manage the contractor and working with mine personnel on additional drill sites.

Objectives

: The Sr. Exploration Geologist will be a cross-shift to the other exploration geologist and assist in all functions related to the contract objectives.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK

Key Tasks

:

1. Drill Management:

Manage daily drilling operations, coordinate drill pad construction, maintain working geologic models to track progress and targeting, collaborate with management to adjust drill plans to meet company goals.

2. Logging:

Clean, reassemble, and measure core and chips. Log data using database software, with attention to alteration and mineralization.

3. Sample Management

: Lay out, cut, and package samples, ensuring proper QA/QC protocols are followed.

4. Field Work

: Assist with short-term sampling, field mapping, and using GPS coordinates to locate stations.

5. Data Entry

: Collect, Upload, and organize data.  Assist with office tasks like scanning and digitization.

6. Transport & Organization

: Properly label, store, and transport core samples, maintaining accurate inventory.

7. Communication

: Regular check-ins with exploration team and drill company. Report any issues promptly.

4.0 QUALIFICATIONS

1. BS Degree in Geology

2. 8-10 years experience with a focus on

near mine, brownfields exploration

3. Ability to manage all aspects of near mine drill programs, including Leapfrog modeling, planning and tracking drillholes, drill station inspections.

4. MSHA Certification (Required)

Total Compensation:

1.     Day Rate DOE

2.     Per Diem

3.     Housing (Reimbursed)

4.     Mobilization Reimbursement
